We are a trading education and support company led by a money manager and former proprietary trader dedicated to helping traders stay on the path to long-term success.

Founder and chief officer of both Traders Rally, LLC, and Girard Capital Management, LLC, Preston Girard began his trading career in 2011 and has been consistently profitable since 2014. In 2017 he registered with FINRA as a Securities Trader and went on to trade for two broker-dealers in New York.

During the crash of 2020 caused by the pandemic, Preston’s automated strategy in long volatility returned 460% and he was invited to offer coaching and mentoring as well as a course in automating volatility to an online trading community.

Preston spoke with many traders who were experiencing the deeply psychological struggles inherent in learning how to become consistently profitable and it was during this time that he realized coaching/mentoring, along with managing his own money as a business, was what he was most passionate about. So he set out to start his own community where new and struggling traders could find the proper education and support for their journeys. And this is how Traders Rally came to be.

His approach focuses on helping new and struggling traders learn how to use the inevitable barrage of trading products (pre-built strategies, trading alert services, virtual trading floors) and stock tips from experts and “gurus” and various Social Media sites strictly as stepping stones in their ongoing education instead of just plug-and-play strategies. Preston believes this is the key to keeping developing traders moving forward toward the eventual construction of their own unique and profitable trading approaches instead of running in circles by constantly falling for the mirage of easy, constant profits.

He does this by offering a blog, a page for new and struggling traders to anonymously confess their struggles and a step-by-step guide on how to build their own unique and profitable trading approaches. This content is offered to help aspiring traders overcome the psychological hurdles of learning how to trade – the inevitable crises of confidence and trading slumps – so that they can stay in the game long enough to identify their strengths and to learn what it takes to become consistently profitable on a long-term basis. In other words, he helps them learn how to RALLY through the tough times so that they can keep learning and practicing, thereby giving themselves a chance at trading success.
